Someone on the R3 message board mentioned this site http://www.miserablemelodies.com - which is an absolute must hear.

OK so they were primarily interested in the classical stuff but that's only a small selection of the other absolute classics there though. I particularly like the Temple City Kazoo Orchestra's interpretation of "Whole Lotta Love". I also found what appears to be our esteemed leader in his previous incarnation of a happy, highly-motivated Woolworths manager (under Playlist, Miscellaneous, Industrial). Try it. And of course, the mandatory appearances from many Trek stars.

And do also try the classicos - but please not with a full cup of anything hot...or a full bladder. I nearly had a nasty accident! Florence Foster Jenkins was a legend in her own lifetime - and sold out Carnegie Hall. And the Portsmouth Sinfonia (every one absolutely unbelievable) shows what a wealth of talent LiloLee grew up with (and carries with him to this day ;) ).

    Just spotted this.

Oh the Portsmouth Sinfonia. A friend of mine was nearly in them, but he got turned down for being too good!

Did go to see them (actually more liked dragged by the music teacher) and I think that is what put me off of classical music.
