I watched this film on DVD for the first time last week after having heard good things on the grapevine. It's an high school movie set in the US mid-west centred around our hero Napoleon. Napoleon is a total geek, but to quote the man himself 'GOSH!!' you just can't help liking him.

This is one of those films where nothing much happens, but you seem to really get to know the characters of Napoleon, who gets bullied by the cool kids at school, Kip, Napoleon's 30-something brother who spends his life on internet chat rooms {how sad? - oops} and Napoleons new allies at school - Pedro a new mexican kid and Deb a shy girl who he quickly develops a crush on.

The story takes a while to get going but gradually draws you in, with plenty of gentle laughs along the way, building up to a brilliant ending that has you cheering Napoleon on. Well I just thought I'd recommend this if you're in the mood for an easy going and I thought likeable film.

Vote for Pedro!!

A bit late coming to this, but watched this the other night and loved it. Not much happens, but very enjoyable.

Well worth watching :)

I also saw this a while ago after this thread was first started. I think it was very average. The dancing was good though and that guys cousins!
