    Hello all,

My Ecco AV amp still hasn't arrived and the seller hasn't replied to any messages.

I bought it on the 10th and it was meant to be posted courier.

How long do I wait before contacting ebay about this

    Thanks

    Andrew

    How did you pay?
If it was paypal then contact paypal direct.
If a cheque, be sure it has cleared with your bank, then contact ebay with the details.
I would make steps to contact them now. Maybe another mail to the seller saying that is your intention and also mention negative feedback.

I paid via paypal so I am safe money wise.

Contact eBay and PayPal immediately; neither outfit will lift a finger if you are even one second outside their complaints period. Do not assume for one minute that PayPal - in particular - offers you, as a buyer, any safety net. I have personal experience of their unwillingness to resolve buyer/seller complaints. I would also advise you to immediately contact your credit card issuer (assuming that the PayPal transaction was a credit card one) and get payment stopped.

Shame I had to mention -ve feedback to get a response though

Sorry to be a cynic but you've now got a supposed seller whom you can now no longer trace cos he's moved. Do PayPal have you and him as approved addresses cos if not you're not covered. E-bay won't do anything other than close his account. Contact Paypaal and e-bay now as advised and follow their procedure to the letter or again they'll drop you like a hot potato. Sorry to be doom monger but I was ripped off to the tune of £500 like this and never got a penny back.

He did mention that it was for sale due to moving house and seemed very apologetic in the email so I think he is genuine.

He has good feedback so will give it a week or so and see how it goes

    It was only £35 anyway
