    Hi!

Anyone got their squeezebox working with Pandora? (just want to know if it works in the UK)...

Also, anyone know if Pandora is going to work with the older SB1 or SB2?

Im especially interested in SB1 and Pandora, as they are selling pretty cheap second hand.

    cheers
    chris

My Pandora works in non-USA (Norway). IIRC I think I just made up a USA postcode when registering.

That's right. I have an SB1 and SB2 on the same network and only the latter can connect to Squeezenetwork and thus Pandora. A laptop with digital out is good enough for my second system to get Pandora.

    thanks!

looks like a SB2 or 3 is the eventual answer.

I must admit, the SB3 is a sexy looking little number.

I started using Pandora with a couple SB3s after the Shoutcast offer fell from a few hundred to a handful stations suiting my taste. Great for easy listening while working. Not knowing if it would work in Paris I entered a US zip code. It's a limited three-month free trial though.

one more question for people about this.

with Pandora on Squeezebox, can you select between your different Pandora channels on the display of the squeezebox?

this is one of the reasons that I want it..

    Cheers!

    20% Off Squeezebox This Weekend

Any fence sitters there toying with a SB purchase should check here (20% off):

    http://www.simplyautomate.co.uk/default.asp

Best price I've seen and they're a good company to deal with from my experience.

Some websites seem to have the wireless ones for £209 so Simply Automates 20% off isn't as good on that type of SB3.

For the WIRED version though, they typically sell for around £179 so the 20% offer is the best I've seen on that type.
