Hi All - first post here, w/ maybe a basic question.

I recently bought two sets of powered speakers - KEF LSX II and the Edifier R1850DB. Both sets have sub outputs and I'm planning to add a subwoofer to each pair. Presumably, both these speakers have an idea of the frequency range that they want to send to the subwoofer.

So here's my question, if the sub has an LPF, do I set it to max as to avoid any frequency gap? Or do I set it to the top of the frequency range sent from the powered speakers (and if so, how do i figure out what that point is?)?
