Anyone know if it's possible to add pre-outs to an integrated amp that has none?

I figure it's a case of tapping the signal before it hits the power amp stage, but is it really as simple as adding a couple of RCA sockets?

in most cases yes, alough it maybe wise to add a buffer stage so's not to load the pre amp stage too much, the normal "tap off "point is either just before or just after the volume control, depending on weither you want the outputs at a fixed level or varible
