    Just fishing for a bit of info on these, I have read some good reviews but can anyone tell me their cost new and a second hand price guide?

    There's a pair for sale here, It say $8200 new.

    In the US so not sure about UK price compared to that.
    You could compare other more common speakers US to UK I guess.

    Here's a coupe of pairs that sold for $2600 & $2795. New price quoted as $7200

    A big warm and very full sound,can make some half resonable sounds too. Becareful on room placement as they can boom like a so in so if you are not careful. They do need a good sized room to extract their full potential imo

    Agreed - a bit too bass heavy for my liking but might work ok in a huge room. Not that neutral sounding - as WM already said.

    i lived with them for a long time , they do need to be at least 2 feet from either side of wall or corners, i thought that they were very good speakers , cost depended on the finish , yew, maple birds eye maple or ebony were the most expensive of the line, but a very good speaker.what are you going to drive them with?.nando
