Has anybody any experience of the Proac Response 3?

Any idea when they were made.

I have the chance to buy a pair that a dealer has had in stock since new.

Had a pair, perhaps 10 yrs old, maybe another 2.

ok not really monster bass for the size, slightly bright balance, but not piercing, big soundstage, one of the few with a bit of depth.but too physically large for the bass on offer really. better vfm than big proacs out there. they are very good, but overpriced.
    what else can you get?

I think they'll be at least 10 years old. Thats a hell of a lot of time to keep them in the shop! I hope he's selling them cheaply.

I heard some ages ago and thay sounded pretty good to me.

Thanks guys, I guess I will give these a miss.

I did not realise that they would be in the 10 year old bracket.

Proac and Naim are probably the most expensive UK imports in Australia.

The dealer is still looking for £2.0K plus, that is less than his wholesale and more than 50% of the original retail.
