Heard the very sad news that BBC Radio 2 presenter David Jacobs has died aged 87.
A long and successful career, mostly at the BBC he could be heard in recent years playing what he called 'our kind of music' on Sunday evening.
The music consisted of show tunes, soft melodic pieces, swing, all the great crooners and the like.
Always a lovely way to ease out of the weekend ready for the bustle of the week ahead. I'll miss him.
