    Ikea " Lack rack "

WOW , it really works . I know it's not a new idea and as more
than likely been covered on here before , but I have just built
one and was expecting it to be a "myth" and justify the big bucks
purchase of a dedicated rack .

But this is the best £ 30 I have spent on hifi , music seems to
have a lot more " bounce " and sounds more " agile " , doesn't look to bad either .

I've spent years trying to get mass into shelfs and supports
( even used concrete in the past ) , now looks like I've been
barking up the wrong tree .

Glad you have found something that works.
Its good when someone gives their views as it helps others to try them and see if it works for them.
Of course others will perhaps come along and say its total rubbish, but what do they know. Thanks for the info. Jim.

The lack works very well ......light rigid construction ...if you can spike the legs to the floor or the next lack table above this will help energy transfere.
