Having just bought a Linn axis turntable and a Rega RB250 arm, the two don't fit. Is there any way to get the arm to fit the turntable?

There are three holes on the Linn turntable which are in different places to the three screws on the Rega RB250 arm.

3 screws on a RB250??? The Rega arm should have a single 24mm mounting secured via a nut.

Are you sure you have a RB250.

latest RB250 has a 3 hole base like the top of the range Rega arms,

the rega needs to be mounted with a distance of 222mm between the spindle and arm pivot centre
(the centre of the cross on top of the arm),
which will be different to the existing mounting point for the Linn arm that was fitted

Axis comes with an arm, it's not intended to be a universal turntable, although I guess you can fit anything with a standard Linn mount.

I've put a Mission 774 on an Axis which uses an SME mount.
You just need to make a small mounting plate - 5mm alloy would be ideal - and drill it to take the Rega. You may have to enlarge the existing hole in the top plate slightly as the Rega arm has slightly greater effective length than the Linn arms and will need to be positioned further from the paltter as a result.

    Good luck!
