I just saw this.....

And had to try it on my Aerius i's I used some folded hand towels to fit the "shelf" behind the electrostatic panel. Well seems to be something in the placement of sound absorbtive materials here....

I'm going to experiment with different materials so expect an update in the near future.

So come on all you Martin Logan fans get your towels out.
 
Just bought a new cdp [quad99] so the speakers are on the back burner for a while till I get used to the new fabulous sounds !
 
Have you had chance to have a good listen yet Zanash. Quad is a manufacturer I haven't heard before, so what type of sound is it. Are you planning any mods to it, Oh and are you pleased with your purchase.
