    greetings all :)

i need to replace the drive units in my Alon IV mk2's.

one of the bass units is parting company from the chassis, so clearly i need a pair of suitable 12inch woofers as replacements

while i'm at it i'd like to do the rest too. i've always found mine to be a little too forward in the tops. the Alon V had much better sounding mid/tops using different drivers. if possible i would like to upgrade to these....

any help would be very much appreciated

You should talk to the UK distributor, as the drivers are OEM.

Alternatively, email Alon (now Nola) [email protected]

You may, however, find it is cheaper to buy a second hand pair of Alon V's, as they can be bought for less than £1K when they come up for sale. The Alon Drivers were always expensive.

Give Dave Smith a call from DK loudspeakers. He does the the repairs for wilmslow. I have used him in the past and has done a fantastic job on any re-coning. His number is: 01708 447344. You may be supprised at the quote. I won't go to anyone else.

Micheal fron Nola UK has a pair of second hand Signatures up for sale. Apparently like new and boxed
