i recently aquired a pair of Mordaunt-Short System 442. One of the tweeters died and needs to be replaced. The only problem is, I'm having a heck of a time getting the drivers out to replace the old tweeter. Can anyone who has worked with these speakers help.

    Thanks in advance.

I had a quick search of the web but couldn't even find a pic......if you need hepl I suggest you put up a pic....

in general speakers are not to difficult to get into ...if they are you could be going the wrong way about it. The normal route is to remove the bass unit or the speaker cable connection plate....rarely in my experience the tweeter. So with either the bass removed or the back plate you should have acsess to the internals. Some larger speakers have special panels that can be unscrewed... but this is normally clear when you have a look at them.
