Two serious bits of headphone listening hi-fi. First off I have a pair of the classic and highly revered Sony MDR-7506 headphones (Also known as the V6 but the 7506 are more expensive), these can be seen here http://www.zzounds.com/item--SNYMDR7506 and their legend can be read about here http://www.audioreview.com/PRD_118049_2750crx.aspx
They can also be read about on any of the Headphone forums banded about regularly such as www.head-fi.org or www.headwize.com
They are a few years old now and as such have some slight ear pad wear on the edges (normal for this model), and some slight wear and tear marks around the headband. On the whole though they are in good condition, buy some new pads for them (quite cheap from Sony) and they will be almost as new again.
Second part of the combo is the Pro-Ject Headbox, this can be seen and read about here http://www.superfi.co.uk/index.cfm/page/moreinfo.cfm/Product_ID/1389 It is a great sounding and pretty bullet proof bit of kit, it also allows you to plug in a second pair of headphones for someone else to listen to, at whatever volume they choose. It can also accept three different sources, selectable like a pre amp. I bought this just before Christmas and have just upgraded my amp; it is in as new condition.
I'm really only interested in selling both at the same time as a package, I believe that's how they work best (but could at a push be persuaded to split and/or price drop). So if you are interested drop me a line - I ask £130 for the pair ONRO. As you can see, new the combo would set you back approx £225.

Just goes to show everyone's tastes are different, I feel the Headbox gives the Sony's a much more airy sound and the selector is a real plus - but that's just me.
