Looking for around 2 - 3M of good mains cable. I have a steel Olsen block but it has a weedy lead on it.
So its about time that was sorted, idealy i want something along the lines of Eupen at minimum, but preferably at a good price.
Dont think shunyata et al sell by the M:rolleyes:

The other alternative is the solid core house wire I'd go for the 1.5 amp sstuff as a starter, Strip the grey cover off and cut your self 4 x 3m two of these should be grounds, start the plait with ground live ground neutral. Plaiting two wires between the two singles, from each side.

This has recieved a good response on the web, but I've not made it myself yet !

The solid core "twin and earth" cable i've seen has a black, red and bare wire. Do you use the bare wire for the ground connection or another one of the red or black cables?. Also, do you have to sheath the finished platted cable, or leave it as it is?
