SPDIF / AESEBU over CAT5?

    Are you asking if you can send it through Ethernet, or just through the
    cable used for Cat5?

    The cable is excellent for AES/EBU, and that length wouldn't be any
    problem. Just pick a pair
    (don't try to get fancy and solder an XLR on each end, connected to pins
    2 and 3.

  3. For now, just the cable.
    Could I send it over ethernet (via a router)? What exists to enable
    that? I can only imagine some uP with an onboard TCP/IP stack.
    I'll probably make up a connector with an RJ45 to XLR on some veroboard
