Speaker cabinet vibration

    can this travel through the cables and back into the equipment,and thus effect sound?

    Only if the cable is very short, very rigid and isn't resting on anything soft like carpet.

    You probably should be more worried about airbourne vibration from the speakers by playing them too loud.

    So Dave, you read the Audio Physik Tempo review in this month's HiFi News aswell :)

    The binding post panel is apparently damped to prevent vibrations from the cabinet being sent down the cables. Sounds like a load of bull to me but I like the look (and the price) of those Tempos....
