Should have the AVI mono's by the end of the week:D
So now i have the chance to maybe put the mono's off the rack and closer to the speakers, enabling shorter runs and i could finally sort some decent speaker cable. Obviously this means longer IC's.
Im hopeing to get a 1M black sink, i could put my pre on the bottom of the rack and get the amps just under a meter away.
Is longer IC's an option or should i stick to 1M and work with that.
Good and bad points of both ideas appreciated:)

    Quality - I reckon you're gonna love 'em :D .

My only suggestion would be to ensure that you've got something like a slab under your amps if they're going on the floor. The decoupling from the floor will ensure you only get good vibrations :MILD: .

Andy are you going to Bi-wire or monoblock ?, long I/c's and shorter (decent speaker) cables gives more involvment, in the time I had Bryston mono's, if you more real too, with a tighter more focussed stage, Bi-amping, gave a bigger stage/image and greater dynamics, using the same amps (brystons), the Avi's I bi-amped all 4, you need to really have a go for yourself mate. Voodoo, ill be looking at either some decent isolation plinths or maybe a kinda small one shelf flexy thingy

Tone, no biwire mate, dynaudio's;) Id like to just have a go, but cant be chopping changeing cables all the time, wanna get near to good as i can to start. tall oreder eh!
When you say more involving i take that as more enjoyable?
I like the idea of big stage, sadly bi-amping is out (for a fair while at least)

Andy, involvment and 'into the music' if you like, I found were more in evident, with mono's, however the fun factor was up in the 9/10's biamped, ask anyone how heard the A32/P32 combo, fooking great huge wall of sound :D
I have the ability to bi/amp or mono block with the B/c either 4 times 200w (6ohms) or just dual mono 2 times 480 (you gotta hear what it does at 2ohms :D ), perfer the d/mono, more impact/and involvment and just more what I like, But I keep the I/c short and the cables 2m's max, but it does change if you reverse it, unless you got a proline driver or a wadia 4.2-9V output, and buffered op-amps that'll drive speakers on there own.
I reckon it' be worth borrowing some cables and have a day just sussing for yourself, good fun annoying the guys next door too :) Wm
