When I bought my speakers, I decided to get also Schallwand accessories so there would be no excuse for bad sound...

As they also sold modified Sony playstation 2 + Sonic T amplifier, as a budget solution, I also sent them a TEAC DR-L700 to be modified...

So I got their cables, etc, including their Big Foot supports, as in the photo, wich I used without chalenge until last night...

My system in Portugal is not beeing properly appretiated, so I got my Stillpoints supports to Riga, I though they would sound better than the "wood blocks", they look very "technological" and are more than 3 times more expensive, plus they won all comparison tests I did before with several other supports...

I started by removing the Big Foot last night, bass and mid bass become softer, music lost impact, life...

Today the Stillpoints arrived, so I placed then, bass and midbass back, lively sound, but a bit harsh...

So I had to get back the wood blocks that where already stored, and what a difference, more body, more balanced response, beautifull sound... :D

I used the Jazz at the Pawnshop CD and Chopin works played in a piano Ignace Pleyel 1836, it just didnt sound right without supports or with the Stillpoints, perfect with the Big Foot...

They are made of wood, and have felt on the top surface, plus the two nice looking "spots"...

By the way, the solid wood rack is on Soundcare Superspikes, and the amplifier is on Stillpoints, on the floor, not on the rack...

On the picture there where High Fidelity-pur Blue Chips between the blocks and the player, but I found out they "sucked" the high frequencies a bit, so I dont use them any more...
