Hi All, I am new to this forum. I am posting this here since this is the only forum I found with any discussion of the Tannoy PBM series monitors. I am wondering if anyone ever compared the Tannoy PBM 8 II's to the original Tannoy PBM 8 monitors? I currently own the PBM 8 II's but am thinking that the original PBM 8's sounded better due to the woofer material. The newer PBM 8 II's have this hard/rigid plastic for the woofer cone material which I think accentuates some region of the upper bass frequency giving too crisp of a bass sound which may be unnatural. Any opinions? Maybe someone heard them both...
