    hi guys

i need some help/advice terminating some van den hul mainsstream hybrid cable. http://www.vandenhul.com/cable/mainsstr-h.htm

its advised that the cable is crimped first. i don't really own many tools so what do i need to do this apart from the plugs and iec connectors?

    thanks

You could probably just twist the conductors together rather than crimping them, and if you then solder these in place in the connectors there won't be any danger of one coming loose. The main problem you're going to have is finding plugs large enough to take the cable I'd have thought? Although possilbly it's smaller than I remember.
