I saw that a few days ago. I've obviously never heard one but have heard some people claim it to be one of the finest amplifiers ever made, and no doubt it will only go for a small fraction of what it retailed for...

theres a BIN for £2k. The seller is a dealer and is also based in Lincoln. Its the first 1bit (digital) amp to be made by Sharp and was launched a few years ago according to hfc. Think i may keep my money for something else- could be hard to sell on as people associate the name Sharp with crap (which is what they predominantly specialise in (aside from microwaves and portable MD players))

gutless and bright is what i've heard although not from personal experience i must add - certainly it's younger brother the purple lipstick sporting integrated sx-1 (iirc) was described thus in hfc a while back.
    cheers

Never heard it, although I suspect whoever bought one was paying an awful lot of money to fund the R&D costs of the technology, which was pretty new at the time.
