    Quick two pointer for the sparkies out there :D

    Q; I have just purchased a lathe which has a 3 phase motor. The wires coming out are, Green, Red, Blue and Yellow. (I think this is the old system of colour coding)

    The 5 pin plug (red) I have to plug into the generator has plug connections of; R1, S2, T3, N and Earth.

    What goes where ?

    A;

    t3=blue
    n=not used
    earth=green
    if the motor goes the wrong way change red+yellow (or yellow+blue or red and blue)around
