I'm the proud owner of a Revox B760 tuner, which arrived yesterday. However, I have a question for the group. We all know solid-state components sound better if left on, but if I leave the Revox on all the time, being an old component, it is more likely to blow up in my absence. Therefore, should I:
1. Leave it muted when not in use (it's conected to a set of headphones, it's not part of my main system)?
2. Turn it off via the front-panel switch to reduce the chance of it going into meltdown?
Thanks,
Simon
