Townshend Isolda DCT Speaker Cable For Sale. 2 * 2.5 metre single wire, 6 months old and really very very very good sounding indeed.

Certainly the best speaker cable I've ever used (until we started selling our own ;) ).

This would set you back £300 new +P&P, but this is going for

    £230 ono (+ P&P if required)

    Cheers

Ah, well you see.... we get to play with the prototypes... we're too mean to actually sell any.... ;)

It will be on the website shortly though, it's already got a number of fans and is in the process of being added to out product range.

    Cheers

Quick lads, it'll be going on e-bay shortly. Our own cable is better, but it's much more expensive, so this is still a bargain at the price!!

    Cheers

Timpy I have always had a problem with what goes as Omiga Audios opinion on this/other fora other hifi users choices in cabling etc, now I don't want to get into a tussle with the respresentatives of Omiga Audio again, but now you are selling speaker cables it sort of highlights why I took great issue with what you said about my choice / opinion on the cables they used here a few months ago and why I said what I did at the time. I hope you take onboard that these were vaild concerns and that the imminent arrival of OMG speaker cables makes your earlier efforts at decrying cheap DIY CAT5 speaker cables seem, well loaded with future intent as I recall at the time.

    https://www.audio-forums.com/as-rediect/showthread.php?threadid=243

I actually have no problem with OMG making whatever type of cable they wish, they are just as viable as any other IC/Speaker manufactuer out there, I just wonder how it would seem if another IC/Speaker cable maker went around calling peoples kit they were happy with “crap†etc, prior to releasing items down the line. Funnily enough I reckon a different marketing strategy would maybe have stopped all these types of arguments down the line IMHO, maybe being upfront that all along you guys were actually thinking of making your own ICs/Speaker cables to rival/outperform others on the market would have cause a lot less grief all round.

Out of principle I feel I should mention this.

ATB for you & your company's future well-being (in all seriousness BTW)

    Oh for Christ's sake CJ:rolleyes:

For what it's worth, FFRC is crap, always will be crap, and I have no links to Omiga Audio whatsoever.

The truth is that you get upset when someone tells you you are wrong, not because you take exception to others marketing policies.

The fact that you trawl that old thread up on this page just goes to show what a sad little man you really are!

    There may be trouble ahead

Let's face the music and dance

    Before the fiddlers have fled
Before they ask us to pay the bill,
and while we still have that chance
Let's face the music and dance

Soon, we'll be without the moon
Humming a different tune - and then...

There may be teardrops to shed
So (But) while there's music and moonlight

I haven't read your post fully, because life is too short, but guessing at what the jist is, for your benefit the situation is this:

Omiga Audio now have some speaker cable in their range, or at least will have in the new year, so everything said at the time about us having no vested interest is obviously still true, as we didn't have any back then.

Also obviously, us now having a cable does not make Isolda a bad cable in any way at all. It is very very good stuff and one of the best upgrades you can buy for the money, I do not and will not hesitate to recommend it for the money. I believe ours is better, but then it is more expensive, and I was able to upgrade to it, hence the replacement.

Obviously, the existance and acceptance of FFRC amoungst some audiophiles, was all the impetus we needed to try and sort something else better out for them.............

However if you like FFRC then good luck to you, you are not alone, infact, I wonder why you've bothered reading this advert this far. I don't like it, that's my opinion, and I'm sorry, but I'm not changing it for you or anybody else.

Edited for: reference to Isolda changed to "buy for the money", not "make for the money" al la FFRC.

    Cheers

Have you tried selling it on PFM aswell? The flatties seem to be quite into that cable. As for me, I've already got some and it is a great cable :)

Thanks Mike, I should have put it over there is suppose.

    Hi Julian

Yes, of course. When would it be best to post it off to you. I can get it in the post on the 5th easily enough, before then it might be a little trickier.

    Cheers
