looks just like an icon audio 40i to me... are they as good? or should i carry on looking for an icon?

It is for all intents a purposes, an icon, they are imported from china.
However, they may differ slightly in features, but stuff inside is identical.
Superb build, but not my cup of tea.

The one on your link differs from the Icon one by using different valves (6L6). The seller also sells another amp which is the Icon one, which uses EL34 valves.

Generally the EL34 valve gives slightly more output, with a bit more upfront presentation that a 6L6, but I haven't heard these particular amps.
