Anyone remember Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass? Picked up their Greatest Hits on vinyl for £2 from North Lanes in Brigton the other day. Classic stuff. Interestingly, Herb Alpert and his producer Jerry Moss formed A & M records.
Another brilliant jazz artist was Sergio Mendez. Bossa-nova type jazz from Brazil. Also picked that up on CD the other day.
Definately two legendary names that seem to be forogtten.
