Nice one Mo! I'm not so bad as Sideshowbob, but 4 times over is bad enough!!

Expensive isn't the word (and it's my bro's second-oldest's (neice) birthday on 14 April (one of the only ones I remember easily as it's the day the Titanic hit the iceberg...)

Yep £20 every birthday, I have 13 cousins so you can imagine how expensive it got for my parents! They tend to stop at 18 if they are working but if they're students my parent still give them money, one of my bastard cousins is still a student at 25!

Hopefully it will be a few years yet before I become an uncle my sister is only 19 (its her birthday today).

We stop the niece/nephew presents at 21, student or otherwise. Still got two 'in the system' and the youngest one is only 16.

My siblings aren't even catholics, just far too fertile for their own good.

My mum still gives money to the more local 21 year olds and stuff, I think she stops short at giving money to my 24 year cousin though who is a director.

My mum dosn't like to stop because it might cause offense, I still recieve money of my aunties and uncles and I am 22, but I am still a student, if I have a job on my 23rd birthday I suspect my money will half.

I got nearly £500 for my 21st birthday! But then everybody stopped after that :). One good thing have loads of rich aunties and uncles.

    Tell me about it!

Thank FUDGE my sister is a phsychotic fat minger with no chance of getting a bloke (18 stone, 44 years old, and I'm *sure* is a manic depressive/paranoid schizophrenic (based on symptoms I've heard of from people I know who know people if you know what I mean)). And before anyone has a go at me about being nasty to her - reserve judgement until you've met her, and seen what she's done to my parents...

Thank GOD I'm adopted! If I was blood related to HER I'd be worried! She makes Miss Trunchbolt look nice... (well, OK, maybe she's not THAT bad but...)

    Sorry - off topic!

Nice rant! I once worked with a bloke who hated all his siblings. Of his eldest sister he said 'she's a waste of skin' (expletives deleted). I asked if his other sister was any better. He replied 'She's worse - she's an oxygen thief'. (Imagine these verdicts delivered in a strong Yorkshire accent for added venom).

He he - love it - my sister's a space invader! Seriously though, she's DEFO pyscho - mum should have carried out her 1999 Christmas threat to have her sectioned - that may or may not have made dad less susceptable to his terminal cancer (stress = poor immune system). EVERY YEAR at christmas we have the same crap from my sister - it's like Eastenders - the comedown version!

My brother (a blood relative of my sister) is cool though - I bet mum wishes she'd had a headache that July day in 1960 when my sis got conceived - he he!

Been a few things going on, but all seems under control. However, she'll be getting induced toMOrow MOrning around 8am :D

A couple of weeks early, but seems like a case of better out than in.

Part of me is obviously worried, but that's not going to change anything, so I'll stick to being excited :D

So, boy or a girl? Place your bets....

My gravy train stopped at 21. Have one nephew-in-law sort of thing (not blood) and his bday is 1st Jan so makes presents easy, though I cant wait till he's older and appreciates money more than a present.

    It's a girl! :D:D:D

For some reason everyone seemed to be expecting a boy, but they've now got a gorgeous little girl and I'm a proud uncle :)

She'll be the first girl to score in a European Cup Final! The winning goal for Celtic of course. Or perhaps for Scotland in a world cup final?

    Cheers!

    Uncle MO :)

Such lofty ambitions and you're just the uncle! What if she decides she's going to play for Rangers? ;-)

    Good luck and congrats!
