There seems to be a lot of talk of speakers having to be wife friendly these days.

    Time to bite back methinks.

I came across this picture just now - I say show this to the ladies to illustrate how lucky they are:

come on tone the soundstage from them when we heard them was amazing. yes they weren;t the most 'musical' speakers around but for someone like graham or other classical buffs then they would be perfect.
    f*ck women.
    cheers

    Merlin,

Have you had any famous clients at your salon recently for a new hairstyle?

    lordsummit,
what i mean is that they don't seem to like moderm music like rock and dance - although for different reasons.
with dance / electronica they are a bit too clinical and slow when things get complex. - does classical get into the 130+ bpm's?
with rock it gives you a larger than life image of the band like giants are playing huge instruments.
with classical the soundstage is filled by the orchestra.
tony had a deep purple(?) goes classical cd that we listened to. the rock band intro's were overblown and very unrealistic, however the orchestral parts were amazing (and i'm not a big classical fan). this is why i say that the lampros 1000's (or whatever they are) are more suited to classical than contemporary music.
    cheers

How on earth would you know that Julian? Have you heard Deep Purple playing at the RAH? Were you there? WM wouldn't know realism if it called at his door in the shape of the repo man!

BTW, hows the AS? Was listening to one last night with a view to buying. Way too "hifi" for me :(
