Wanted: recording of the last night of the proms

    My lovely wife is a member of the BBC symphony chorus and so was one of the performers for the last night of the proms. She is naturally very keen to have a record of this. Unfortunately, due to a lack of five year-olds at djc towers, the video recording was cocked-up. Does anyone have a recording, Video or DVD, that they could share with us? Please PM if you can help.

    btw, I'd be pretty amazed if the bbc don't have a "best of the proms 2005" dvd on the shelves by christmas....

    That counter tenor was amazing - what a beatuiful, angelic voice!

    If you enjoyed Andreas Scholl, try this which has two of the arias he sang on the last night and is a highly recommendable starter. A version of Down by the The Sally Gardens, the duet with John Williams, is available here but listen to the clip first, it's quite a different take on the song.
