Having taken the plunge and started a small business ....following the very encouraging comments by users of my other cables. I need a number of people to test a new cable I've designed .....this is against my normal rational and is a copper cable.

    What do I want .....

someone with the time to test the cable and be able to give me a warts and all unbiased opinion preferably in written form.

    What is the cable ...
isoToPiC....[meaning twisted pair cable using the same conductors for ground and hot ]...

Copper IsoToPiC 0.75m stereo pair ......estimated retail at £50-£60 ....

    What you need.....

A rca-rca connection between cdp or source to amp, or pre to power.

It would be useful if you also have a couple of interconnects run against mine.

    What will it cost ....

Well just your return postage [I'm not a charity!]

    What can I offer ....

20% discount on any future orders ...I'm also looking at some promotional bits and pieces but thats a couple of months down the line

I will have a small number of Ic ready to go ...so its first come only..

if you wish to take up this offer can you contact me on

    [email protected]

    thanks in anticipation

    pete

    Good luck with it Pete.

The only thing I would suggest is not to offer the 20% discount or it leaves room for people to claim any opinions are biased. IMO the reward simply has to be the fun of trying it out. :)

    Cheers.....pal !

very true .....though I would like to able to say thank you some how....

At least the "thank you" is up front ....

A lot depends on what I do with the opinions ....if kept in house then I can't see an issue ...its only if there used to promote the item there'd be an issue ..are far as I can see ..

Mr cat ....if you want to try you need to use the email address provided as I want to separate the test from my zg inbox as its currently over flowing !

Send me a pair, I'll organise a bake-off, and we can all report the results against some freebies and some more expensive stuff. I can rustle up a single-blind test easily enough, we'd just need a CD player with twin outputs or something similar.

I think Dev's Arcam A9 has twin outputs.
Failing that, I have an old but nice Meridian 206 and can stick an extra pair of RCAs on it.

Sounds plausible. Dev, are you up for lending us your CD player?

Zanash, have sent you an email.

It is up-front, which is good and you are a business so things are in the open.
Perhaps offer 20% discount on a repeat order?
That way the reviewer pays full whack for the initial purchase, if it happens.

    Just a thought.
