    You'll need to provide a bit mor info as to where you want the screw.

    Most bearing housings are attached to the sub plinth, often by screwing the whole onto a large dia thread, others may be screwed using a flange.

    If memory serves the TD160 was screwed , can't think of a flanged version though.

    go on, why do you need a bearing ?

    i want one for a DIY TT project
    some plans i found online, wooden structure non suspended with seperate motor pod
    hell if it doesnt cost to much im not looseing
    other method would to bastardise my linn basik:eek:

    For a prototype DIY TT I go round junk shops and get one with a decent bearng housing. You should be able to pick something up for a tenner, especially if the TT doesn't work. Once you have discovered the sonics of the DIY TT then spend and get a good one.
