Whats your local record store situation?

Keep reading that vinyl sales climb every year, but the record stores around here seem to keep closing anyway. Whats it look like in your town, still got a good local shop worth an afternoon, or has it all gone to ebay and discogs?

And is anybody's local shop actually good for gear too, or just records?

I have to drive over an hour to find a store, but then again I live in farm country and I have to drive 20 miles to get to any of 3 Walmarts.

Destin Beach has a lot Vinyl/CD stores. Lots of seniors here sell their Vinyl/CDs. I've discovered many great deals on used media - such as original pressings that have never been opened before.
