    before me :D ....

    no,
i drive a very cheap 1991 lexus, which i may be changing soon depending on how expensive it will be to get it through it's M.O.T. embarrassingly enough a 5 or 7 series bimmer is on the list of possibles. :shame: more likely though is a rover 827 given the budget i have to work with  :chunder:

    cheers

If I had not other expenses in mind, I'd probably go for the Honda 2000. Of course Aston Martins and Jaguars are fun, and the Masers are gorgeous, but I find them all too flashy.

If I could bother to care for it, I would have an MGA an nurse it.

Not wishing to have problems, I drive a Honda. Reliable, lazy, and always makes me curse my choice, but I have better things to do with my money than to buy cars - after all, I can't race them in town or the roads and I quit racing for good (although the temptation for a nice long rear traction powerslide is always there!!).

For a true sportscar, the Porsches are unbeatable, I think. Way better than Ferraris (which I regard as a kind of pimp cars). No offense meant to any Ferrai owner around; if you must have it, don't chose red!). Also very good, I understand, is the Honda NSX.

After the thread on GH, many people may already know what I drive, a 2000 Mercedes C320 Elegance and it is wonderful:banana:

A huge step up from my previous car, wich was a 10 year old vauxhall cavalier which we still have (which I still have to drive as the GF is always taking the merc out)

    I do without

    Chaps

I ran Jaguars for 22 years and last year I sold the last one and have been walking ever since. I share the wifes car which is a bog standard Honda Civic. I walk to work which makes me lucky as I don't need a car to survive.

If I ever had to have my own car again, I would go for a Jaguar S type.......they are superb.

I am currently looking for a Sunbeam S8 motorcycle as a hobby horse. Finding one in mint condition is not easy. I have owned 36 bikes in my time and that model was my all time favourite.

    Regards

    Mick

Pug 306XSi - goes from A to B in an adequate sprint with enough space for a few medium sized gorillas and their lunchboxes. And it doesn't matter if Miss Monster drops cookie crums in it.

    Suprisingly good/adequate
Intrestingly its more useable space in the back [seats down] than than the Fronterra sport we had.....which was never the same after being squashed by a Merc truck........with me in it!

A Ford Mondeo TD LX 1994 - ex taxi thrashed to death as a taxi by Yours Truly.

245000 on the clock and can still whizz past the boy racers on the hills with two lanes up and one down...
