White Noise Audio phono stage for sale
Assembled by Dr White himself and including the cascode PSU - based on the audiophile variant of the circuit but further modifed again. Easily beats the groove I owned before.
Selling due to purchase of Django tvc preamp after upgrade to active from tri-amped system. The phono has an opamp based output stage which is fine into an active pre but isnt sufficient for a passive. Cost to buy would be around £900 - I am offering for £450.
Modifications:
Captive input and output leads using high quality neutric connectors. Option to attach non-captive cables.
All opa chips replaced with AD8067 and AD847 - milspec where possible and on custom built adapters at additional cost. Vast improvement in sound. Some additional tweaking to support this.
All monolithic regs replaced with capacitive multipliers.
High quality screened dc cables.
