But you cant quite work out why.
For a while i had this feeling that all was not right. It was as if the mid bass region was hiding behind the curtain, kinda there but muffled and recessed.
Not had much time to properly listen recently, until last night and it was obvious something was amiss.
Got to thinking about it at work today and thought i should check how i had connected everything after the last move around. My obvious thought was that i had the speakers out of phase, nope wasnt that. Checked all interconnects, nope.
Checked mains cables and foofoo box, yep!
I had the foofoo running from iso Tx and power amp straight from the wall.
Put back to how it should be - foofoo fed direct from wall, all sources to that, and iso Tx supplying the power amp.
More bass, details better and all comes together nicely:D

Out of interest, do you run the power amp's isolation transformer via said foofoo box, or straight from the wall?

You can't beat a bit of FooFoo, it's ability to pull black-holes out of their tradjectories at near right angles to plane of starsystems is legendary.
Apprantely they have been know to help improve sonics on leap years at the summer solstice, without the aid of herbal substanices

Mind you, due to that very fact, I keep running into woodstock refugee's with fisherman type sweaters & hook norton pint tea mugs with lp 12+nait 2's under their arms, before their attented the said event, don't you just love temperal coarsality loops
