Hi all,

Check out the new mono max amp from diy hifi supply

http://www.diyhifisupply.com/catalog/110

As many know, I have huge regard for this company and their products. One of the very best kit manufacturers on the planet, it's criminal how few of their amps I see about the place.

Here we have a very unusual power supply, huge potential dynamic swing, and an unbelievable 16watts from an ordinary 300b - they're not cheating with a KR audio tube...

Is this potentially going to fry the tube in hours? presumably not, otherwise they wouldnt launch it.

Someone take a look, I am really intreagued.

Single ended 300B amps aren't really my thing - having said that, that is a lovely looking valve amp and the price seems realistic (they look rather like the ones my friend Clive has - I wonder if they are).

I haven't a clue as to whether the tube will survive - i_should_coco on the Wam would probably know (will be seeing him at the weekend - will ask him if I remember).

Hi, yeah do :)

I should coco (pete) very knowledgeable chap, have a lot of time and respect for him.

Love his rca field coils too.. just gorgeous.
