It seems like seconds sinced I was dancing the night away in 5th Ave (an indie club) on my 21st and now I am approaching 24.

It is quite scary as it dosn't feel like my life has changed at all since I was 16.

OK I have graduated and now I run my own business but my love life is still the same and I am still living in my bedroom etc.

The only really difference is I can drink 10 pints and get the bus home safely now:D

Well the only way to get out your depression is to get out that house.

Go rent somewhere, get your independence. As long as you are at home you will never have the confidence to get laid.

Trust me.

Fraid I disagree there Gary...

My experience of moving out was worthwhile and taught me some new skills and gave me the experience of living out of the nest, but when it comes down to it, it didnt help me get laid ;)

I can safely say that I've had more women since moving out of a folks home... ;)

Too much info :).

I still cannot afford to move out yet, but in the next year I should have enough savings to rent some where.

I do go out a lot so its not like I am always stuck in, I just don't go to the places where you get laid (not my scene).

PS Sorry I about this thread, it was made in an hour of a drunken haze.

I have said it before and I will say it again. Put some money in the bank and this winter bugger off to the alps and do a Ski Season.

1. You meet lots of bush.
2. You are responsible for something.
3. You get fit.
4. You meet lots of bush.
5. You look cool.

at,
as gary says (and i've said before) go. and. fcuking. do. something. with. your. life. while. you. are. still. young.
if you enjoy skiing or think you would then do as gary suggests. if not suff some clothes into a backpack and bugger off round europe with a young persons train pass - you can get these untill you're 26 but after that it costs a bloody fortune. as you've said time goes really quickly and before you know it; you'll be 30 with responsibilities and wishing you'd done it.
go see paris and jim morrisons grave, go see the alps in switzerland and open a swiss bank account for a laugh, get laid in some dodgy eastern bloc country, go see gaudi's architecture in barcelona, turn up on some forum members doorsteps for a free bed and meal :) have some bloody fun rather than being depressed in a manc club all the time. ffs. it'll be a lot easier to pull if you've got some interesting anecdotes about getting hammered with ex stasi mafia in the ukraine than one about the time you and some mates discussed existential angst in some bar not 5 minutes away from where you are.

AT, this is your first "moaning" thread for quite a few months, you can do better.

As suggested by Julian, Garyi and others do something, I'm with Julian and Garyi 100% on this and a train trip around Europe with a bit of work (if needed) will do you the world of good.

When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.
Read some Samuel Langhorne Clemens and travel.

I think 10 pints would last me a month...

but I do like to have the odd glass of wine in the evenings, but never enough to get drunk!
