55k in the UK, 31k in the US..... and made in Bath??

Doesn't it remind you oh so much of it's 1st cousin the Mondeo? Too much like the Mondy for my liking. At £55K here I'd be looking elsewhere.

The shape of the bonnet reminds me of some of the recent Volvos, crossed with a Lexus, and the arse looks like an Aston Martin. Strange mix and not especially attractive or eye-catching IMO. Rip off prices, why do we always get stung for so much more than anywhere else, I thought some of the international price differences had reduced recently, obviously not!?

yes, at £55k it's dearer than a BMW M3 for example.
At 31k it would be a steal.
I like the looks, although yes, I agree theres a look of the new Mondeo about it, and a bit Lexus IS220 aswell.
With the Mondeo being car of the year, it's not a bad place to start - but £55k is still an awful lot of money.
The Americans with £31k for a 0-60 5 second car are getting quite a deal from this new Jag though I feel.
