When is Wales's first game in the World Cup by the way? Oh, wait.... :p
 
bastards - now i kinow what happened - and i was hoping to go through the whole of the world cup in blissful ignorance.
it's going to be a nightmare in town tonight :(

I don't think they've got one. I'm not Welsh ;) Like you, I'm just here for the sheep.

This summer, I shall MOstly be Swedish :)

Hehe, well accept my apologies then ;) thought I'd seen you mentioning you were in Cardiff, so I automatically assumed you were Welsh :)

I'm actually about 5 min's from Newport.

I'm Scottish, so I guess we're not at the finals either.

But like I said, this summer I'm Swedish!

Anyhow.... so how are people finding the competition so far?

There's been some entertaining games. The Sweden v England game last night was enjoyable. Got to feel sorry for Owen. Really can't see why Ericson's took Theo if he's not going to play him though. Last night seemed ideal for giving him a run.

Portugal v Mexico was enjoyable earlier. Not so much in that game, but in the previous ones Figo's shown he's still got some of that class.

Argentina v Holland could be a great game tonight, and I'm already looking forward to Sweden v Germany. I'm a bit of a Larsson "fan" and would like to see him go out on a high.

Yes, I want to see Theo play.

Hopefully Sven will give him a run in the match against Ecuador.

A replacement for Crouch in the second half perhaps.

I really rate Larsson, I'd love Sweden to beat Germany. Is Ibrahimovic going to be fit?
 
Last I heard, they were optimistic he's be fit.

He's no doubt a quality player, but I feel sometimes a little too selfish at times. Alback sometimes shows similar traits but played well against england I thought, chasing everything.

Larsson is Ghod!
 
I like guessing.

I really don't know why you Scots bother, you know full well the England team will crash out, English hearts will break & muchos tears be shed... isn't that enough for you?
