I guess there won't be many kids there so a quiet meal is quite possible

And how do they take their ingredients/equipment there?

    Looks nice though

word on the street is its actually a temple, which explains the dedication of the clientele. I've never been that needy of a Club sandwich, free or otherwise.

    Don't mention China...

Phew, two years ago I bought a Chinese 300B single ended amplifier... what a huge pile of junk...!!! What a waste of hard earned cash that was.

    Chinese HiFi

Mr Cat, at the same time I bought the amplifier, I also bought an Original 2008F HDCD CD player. This has packed up once when the mains toroidal tranformer burnt out but it was easily repaired at a cost of 85 pounds. The CD player looks stunning and is generally reliable but, as for valve amplifiers from China, I would say they are damn dangerous.

My advice... buy it, just don't blame me when it hits the fan...!!!

...well I bought a DOGE 6201 CD player which sells in Europe for 3000 euros under a different brand name from the German importer, for a meagre £900 incl post and duty when I did it myself, so someone, somewhere is making a lot of money, considering I'm not even buying in volume!

I had a Chinese valve amp, and that always honked smell-wise when it got hot (which it always did) I wouldn't go for longevity on any of this kit. If I worked in a sweat shop on low pay with long hours with lots of toxins kicking about, taking a pride in my work might be a struggle. I'm in print, from experience silly deadlines mean mistakes when it comes to quality control.
