AudioSmile have been running a modification service for the Behringer DEQ and DCX for a number of years and now have a range of new upgrades!

    The website is - www.behringermods.com

A nice feature for the DEQ is the addition of an analog buffered volume control, so it can now function as a pre-amp with all the great features of the DEQ as well as improved performance.

    Hi,

It's probably better to open this discussion here than in how to section.

I bought a deq2496 and started thinking about mods, but it seems newer versions of deq do not use opamps for input/output stages anymore. It looks like dacs are strong enough to drive all the inputs with their voltage.
Have you noticed that? Have I missed something?
Do you also offer power supply mods for the deq? It seems switching power supply is the weakest link atm.

    Cheers
