    I can't I'm afraid!

    'Ambient Flamenco' sounds absolutely horrific, rather like impaling my eyeballs on cocktail sticks. I wouldn't want to inflict that on you or anyone else!

    If you are new to Flamenco and want some reccomendations within the genre I'd be happy to provide some.

    Non-flamenco-snobs may now take over and provide some noodly reccomendation ;)

    Here's a few from my humble collection-

    Azaham- Paco Pena with Tito Lasada (Nimbus). Classical in a recital setting;
    Gypsy Flamenco- Manitas de Plata (Vanguard). A quote from author John Steinback from the cover: "A great and savage artist." There are several volumes to this date. Pick one with a Bulerias, for sure;
    Querencia- Mayte Martin (Virgin). A bit of a favorite. Excellent recording, also, as is:
    Flor de Piel- Martirio (Sunnyside). Soulful vocals with excellent accompaniment;
    Flamenco, Pasion and Duende (soul)- Gino D'Auri (World Class). Some classic (the opening track will nail you to your chair listened loudly) and some modern variations with cellist David Darling;
    Lastly, a little Portugese variety called Fundos: Branco- Cristina Ulisses (Decca). Lovely all around.

    Enjoy, somebody.
