Anyone know anything about this.

I don't want an amp, but I seem to remember hearing about this one
amp
Is it any good, how old, is it possibly a bargain?

Ive been useing one for around 6months

Its OK, very good midrange.
Drives my Dyn's OKish, but not the last word in oomph

TBH, i would say it would be a good upgrade from a budget amp, but no more.
I went from Audiolab 8000A to the shearne, mainly because the Audiolab was struggling badly with my speakers. It was a slight improvement but nothing ground breaking.

the real question is....

why can't people take decent bloody photographs?

Some of the attempts on Ebay are just pathetic. muppets

Just noticed this one as well. I can remember them coming out, but I can't remember how well recieved they were. Certainly looks the dogs whatsits.
Think I may have a little bid on this one!

I *think* I've heard this a few years back. -It was a smilarly styled Alchemist amp, but not sure about the MOdel, and them control nobs look different-.

The styling's certainly eye catching, not sure about the gold/bronze MOself though. Can't really remember too much about the sound, it was ok, I didn't buy one though. As said on the advert, it's no boom boom box ;) And I think it had a relatively low output.

If the price stays down though it's got to be worth a punt though :D
