Anyone here recieved a private PM to join another forum??? I think its abit cheeky for them to seek members this way....
 
was it hificorner by any chance..? - I haven't recieved a pm on this forum about it, but I did on another one...
 
Hey, no-one's asked me to join another forum :mad:! Maybe they only invite the cool and interesting people to join their gang. Oh God, it's like picking football teams at school all over again, it'll only be the awkward and geeky ones left at the end - which to be fair, would probably leave an awful lot of people :D.
 
no i lied to them on your behalf and told them you were cool...

i got one too, a veritable pisstake.

I checked and I've also deleted the PM. I tried to forward it to you when I got it but it didn't work and I then forgot about it. Think it was about a month ago, sorry.

I'll do that if I get any more.
 
I've recieved them here, and on wigwam and hifichoice I think.

All a while back and I think I forwarded them at the time.
No problem with being informed of another information/entertainment source, but there's ways of going about it.
 
So what. This forum is strong enough to have some competition. No harm IMO. Me thinks most post on several forums.
Maybe, posters on the offending forum may join Zerogain, exposure is a good thing. No?

Recieved another email on hifichoice.

Looks like there may have been a bit of trouble over there with Marco deleting half the forum?
 
I think I should remind people of the AUP regarding discussion of banned members.

Our position is this: We are happy to co-exist with other forums on the web with a mutual respect. However, where abuses occur (such as using our PM system to send hundreds (possibly into thousands by now) of spam messages) then obviously we take a different view.
