another silly game

323.5 on about my 5th go... hour later still not beaten it.
Two tips:
Shouting "Fly you stupid fecking bird" does not help.
Neither does absinthe.
This is turning into a surreal friday in...

207.4 on the no bounce nose dive though

207.something on the no bounce beak plant - seems about the norm but can't beat 320 so far :inferno: My best shot came on about my 3rd go and I haven't got close since then :(

Michael.

211 on a nose dive :) Only 319.3 on skid pan alley though.

Edited: Now 321! I do feel however, that a little flapping from the fcuking bird would greatly assist matters :)

305.9, finally, with bounces (took me ages even to get the timing right to hit one of the bloody things).

A splendid game.

Hands up those who think Hippie lied about his score in an evil attempt to wreck our weekends.

Well, i've played it for about 2hrs solid today on and off (oh dear), and there is no way i can get more than 323.5. Law of averages would assume that i could do it eventually, hence i conclude that 323.5 is the highest possible. If i'm wrong, just agree with me anyway, otherwise i'll be on it again. So simple, yet strangely addictive walloping a penguin across the ice.

I reckon 189.0 is the cut off between a nose dive and a home run. Therefore the optimum distance, you wanna be bashing that penguin to is around the 188.9 mark to get a big 320+ score. There is some dodgy friction and inclement weather variability going in the program as well somewhere which is sabotaging my impressive technigue at the foot of the cliff.

oh dear, must stop......

I wonder how much less addictive the game would have been had hippy not told us his high score :D

I also tried to find a marker on the cliff at which point to swing the bat for optimum range but there does appear to be some randomization in there to prevent that kind of tactic :gary:

Michael.

After countless goes I've not managed to better 323.5 either.

After 4 landings on 323.5 I'm close to putting my hand up. The only thing that's stopping me is that for some reason you seem to go a bit further, like I nosedived on 207.7 once. Perhaps each bounce has a sightly random element to it and if you're really jammy you could go further? Must try more...
C'mon Hippie, swear on the motherspliff that you didn't make that score up!!
