I'm trying to revive my SL-P8 which has a couple of issues
Firstly, when the cd tray opens it closes back in when it gets to the end of its travel [edited to add: I've pushed back one of the contacts on the cd tray switch which has cured the opening/closing issue for now]
Secondly, when searching through a track, on some cds it will skip back 20-30 seconds repeatedly so that It will never progress its search. I thought maybe its because of scratches/dirt on the cd, but I've put some rough cds in it and it's searched better than cds with very little scratches
It also on occasion struggles to play the 1st track. If I play the 2nd track and then skip back to the 1st it will then play
Any help will greatly be appreciated
