Downright stupid
My Arcam Alpha 8SE is playing silly beggars. Every so often it starts adding a strange sort of distorted crackly echo to the music, that gets louder if I leave the CD playing. If I turn down the volume on the amp I can hear a sort of vibration noise coming from the CDP, as if the CD is spinning slightly off true....or something.... 
If I eject the CD and take it out / put in in again this often (but not always) cures the problem (for a while). Anyone got any ideas? Is there anything inside that needs lubricating?
