Are my speakers anygood? (Lots of pics)

Well to my ears they are. I bought them from a friend a couple of years ago. I don't know that much about them.

Axis LS28 made by "Absolute Sound Australia". They had a retail of something like $699.

Just recently I took the drive units out to take a look. I thought I would take some photos and see if somebody more knowledgeable then myself may be able to tell me a bit more about the speakers.

I have tried emailing Axis, but have had no reply.

red wima is a film cappacitor ...2.2uf at 240 v?

obviously if they sound good to you then they are ! a bit of a truism ...

make certain he drivers are screwed back down nice and tight .not over tight though ...its a fine line . The internal cable doesn't look up to much so you could perhaps mprove things in that department ...clean up the spade contacts too ..if its spade connections on the woofer ? then soldering the wire to the terminals may also give you an nth in performance ..
